Panasonic HDC-SD10 and HDC-TM10 World’s Lightest Full-HD Camcorders



Panasonic announced its new HDC-SD10 and HDC-TM10 that are the world’s lightest Full HD digital camcorder weighing just 227 grams. These camcorders are basically identical, except the SD10 uses SD/SDHC memory cards while the TM10 comes with both 8GB internal storage and SD/SDHC card slot.

Phosphor Digital Hour and Calendar E-Ink Watches



Phosphor Watches introduces two new E-ink-based watches, the Digital Hour and the Calendar. Both of them feature a e-ink electronic paper display offering paper-like, high contrast readability.

The Digital Hour and the Calendar both have an ergonomic curved case. They can display 12 hour only and autonomously alternating between white-on-black to black-on-white time displays each passing minute. These watches are water resistant up to 50m.

Both new e-ink watches are both available with either, Stainless Steel Band, Black Leather Band or Black Polyurethane Band. You can now get one here.

Microsoft’s Office 2010 Leaked Early



The public was supposed to start testing Microsoft’s Office 2010 this summer, July to be exact, but the test version was leaked on the web this past Friday. Also known as Microsoft Office 14 (those numbers are getting up there) the software does actually look nice. But do you really want the pirated version?

Kodak EasyShare M420 Digital Camera



Kodak announced the new EasyShare M420 10 Megapixel digital camera. The M420 features a 4x zoom SCHNEIDER-KREUZNACH VARIOGON Lens with 28mm wide angle, 5x digital zoom, image stabilization, ISO up to 6400 and a 3-inch LCD display.

Kodak EasyShare M420 includes face detection, scene detection, optimized auto ISO, and broader dynamic range functions. It can record 640×480 VGA video at 30fps. The M420 supports SD/SDHC cards, in addition to 64MB internal memory.

eMachines, part of Acer Group, announced the EL1300 Series small form factor desktop PC. The new EL1300 series is just one-third the size of traditional desktop PCs and has a bright white glossy finish.

LG shows 5.9mm World’s Thinnest LCD HDTV Panel



LG presents the world’s thinnest 42-inch and 47-inch LCD TV panels that utilizes the edge-lit LED (light emitting diode) backlight system and LGS (Light Guide Sheet) technology. The new LCD TV panels are just 5.9mm thick.

These 5.9mm panels feature 1920×1080p Full HD resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 450 cd/m2 brightness, 80% color saturation level and a 8ms motion picture response time. The 42-inch and 47-inch LCD TV panel weigh just 6.1kg and 7.3kg respectively, about 50 percent lighter than the same size of conventional CCFL-backlit product.

LG doesn’t announce the availability and pricing of these new LCD TV panels.
